a) Information You Provide

  • Full name, email address, and phone number (when registering or submitting a contact form)
  • Interested study destination, intended university, and course preferences
  • One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for account authentication
  • Payment information (processed securely via eSewa/Fonepay; we do not store card details)
  • Voice inputs and text submitted during CAS mock interview sessions

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Browser type, IP address, and device information
  • Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns on our platform
  • Session tokens stored in your browser's local storage
  • Interview session metadata (start time, duration, score, transcript)

c) Information from Third Parties

  • If you log in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your student account and portal access
  • Process payments and manage interview credits
  • Deliver AI-powered CAS mock interviews and generate your feedback reports
  • Enrol you in online classes and send class-related notifications
  • Send OTP emails for secure login
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send you service-related updates (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time)
  • Improve our platform, AI models, and service quality
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

3. AI Interview Data

Our CAS mock interview feature is powered by the Google Gemini Live API. When you use this feature:

  • Your voice audio is streamed to the AI model in real time for processing
  • Interview transcripts and scores are stored securely in our database and linked to your account
  • This data is used solely to display your interview history and feedback reports
  • We do not sell or share interview transcripts with third parties except as required by law
  • Google's data handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your login session via a secure token. We may also use:

  • Essential cookies: Required for session management and security
  • Analytics cookies: To understand how users interact with our platform (if analytics are enabled)

You can clear your browser's local storage or cookies at any time, which will log you out of the student portal.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Payment processors (eSewa, Fonepay): To complete transactions securely
  • Google (Gemini AI, Google OAuth): To power our AI interview and login features
  • Email service providers: To deliver OTP and notification emails
  • Law enforcement or regulators: When required by applicable Nepalese law

All third-party service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the specified purpose.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8). Interview transcripts and reports are retained for up to 2 years to allow you to access your history.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure token-based authentication, and access-controlled databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
  • Data portability: Request an export of your data in a structured format

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are intended for students who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites such as university portals or payment gateways. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
